This is my faaaaaaaavorite section! I'm a sucker for the moment when a character suddenly realizes he's in waaaay over his head, and you write it so madly hot and funny and sweet. *sigh*
"Yeah!" Kal exclaimed, "so Luthor had this hallway trap that he wanted me to walk through. I mean, he actually built this thing! And it was so ridiculous. There was one machine that shot fire, and another that froze me in a block of ice. So I walked through it, mostly because I would have felt bad for him if I'd just smashed it. I mean, it was really sad. I was embarrassed for him."
God, I love this whole paragraph, I can totally see Kal all excited and waving his hands around about how stupid the poor bastard is and how much it means to Luthor that he go through the ludicrous "deathtrap."
The drunk in the kitchen scene was so funny and then got very hot very fast, and the hotness lasts so well through the masturbation scene. I swear, you write the most blazing smut in the fandom, and it's chock full of characterization that's as hot as any

I'm glad you liked my Superman Movie geek-out session. I got a real kick out of Superman detailing Luthor's past elaborate, ridiculous schemes.
I was worried that getting the boys drunk was maybe self-indulgent and unlikely, but I needed them to let their guard down a bit. And Clark was totally slamming a Budweiser in Superman Returns, so what the hell? (Incidentally, how much do you think Budweiser paid to have Superman drink a beer on film? I'm guessing A LOT because it's pretty OOC).
I was hoping that the story had progressed enough that the first smutty scene wouldn't be jarring. Looks like it worked ok, so yay!
