Boom!

I've been wanting to put this down since nearly a week; I've rewatched The Candidate about 4 times, total.

And still, I couldn't do it. I felt like I just couldn't do justice to Sun, Jin and Sayid.

"But you know what's crept up on me, as a kind of unexpected defining moment? Jack's line: "John Locke told me to stay." *bam!* Of course, for what it expressed about how far Jack's come, but also, amid all these recent deaths, it was a fierce tribute to the John Locke we lost and were never really given a chance to mourn. He may have screwed things up and never had a chance to put things right, he may have been used badly, but his life meant something and he had an impact on others, and Jack was acknowledging that ( ... )

Heh. I've ventured onto FBL a few times - started out reading the spoiler thread (which you don't have to be registered for) then got curious about what they were saying on the rest of the site. I was quoted a few times in their Bubblehead thread, from TWOP. Made me proud. :D

LU has gone very quiet. It just ain't the same without the invasions man. LOOL.

Overall I've been pretty happy with this season. I'm ready to see the show end though.

I checked it our for the alleged Mavie phenomenan; they were right on that. Mavie=ICKY! evanesco75 May 14 2010, 07:09:01 UTC
Lol! I've been mentioned a couple of times too, how infinitely flattering! It's really amusing to me simply because they sound like sad stalkers who have so much time on their hands. Like literally, they wake up and plop down before the computer and begin Day 11265 of Spying On The Enemy. Then, they scurry back frantically to their hole to Report! And then, the other 8.5 people waiting breathlessly jerk awake and start pounding their chests with war cries and the ever-present, utterly insecure assertion of their own supposed superiority over us mortals! You know, how moronic everyone else is, how they're the only ones on the fucking planet who 'know' what the creators are doing.... vastly entertaining. Worth opening an account, if only to get an occasional dose of humour ( ... )

and Claire could've succumbed to a similar fate, to allow Kate a chance to be Aaron's mum again.

You know that isn't going to happen. Aaron is being raised by his grandmother now, Claire's mom.

Yeah, I was speculating.

Really like your icon; Watts and Norton were heart-breaking in that one!

The most infuriating thing is that all the faux-intellectual types have now forgotten all they said about being the only people who understood the show and are now playing the 'we were always the underdogs, it's the Jack Show' card. That or the 'Darlton are catering to the Suliet fans' card. It's called KARMA, bitches. Serves you right for being so arrogant about Skate's chances. Don't play the fucking victims now.

I'll miss Lost but I won't miss fandom. And I'm never shipping again. LOOOOL.
