I think I read some exchange where Sarah was suggesting to people to scan and print out a new copy of scanned pencils to ink over. Is that why you still have pencils available there or was it digitally inked? I'm an optimist so I have faith that even you could learn to do something on photoshop, that and your pencils seem tight enough that digital inking sounds like a viable option for your style - see anything Kevin Maguire's done in the past 10 or so years for what I'm referring to there. It's all pencils digitally darkened to resemble ink.

I've been advised by a few fellow creators to try digital inking because of my tight penciling but it's not something I feel comfortable with trying right now. Not when we're always rushed on projects and there's no time for a learning curve. No time to make mistakes.

Maybe sometime. But I've been saying that about a new issue of hectic Planet (et al) and updating the website, so, yeah, take that with a mountain of salt.

I have been super-curious about printing out blue-lines of pencils to ink over. Again, lack of time+lack of money+lack of tech chops (on my part, at least) won't let that happen anytime soon, I'm sure.

Just gonna keep grinding away at the pages dinosaur-style. Albeit with Sarah using Photoshop for clean-up and corrections on b&w work.

Ouch. Well, I certainly know the sting of kicking out your best jams for the sake of near universal indifference. In fact, the Crossover of which you speak was one of my biggest disappointments in terms of audience responses; it just seemed to completely fly under the radar at the time. I'm happy it seems to be getting some positive returns now with the HC reprint. Sometimes these things take time ( ... )
