No wonder people look at me funny when I wear my tux to work.

Some of these are really dated, of course, but in some ways a more universal understanding of etiquette could be a good thing.

Yeah, I like the novelty of it. At least now I know to remove my gloves at a formal dinner. I could've really embarassed myself...

It's interesting to me to see which ones I still consider relevant: numbers 1, 18, 24, and of course 6 (it's not like we're going to start eating crackers with a knife and fork anytime soon).

We're doing OK - George is trying to graduate this semester, so we're very busy.

I also love old books - I have one on housecleaning and another on mixed drinks I've been meaning to blog about someday.
