My new job is so...utterly...tedious. I basically just answer the phone, file, and do spreadsheets on Microsoft Excel all day. I feel like an ingrate because it's close to my house, it's a great environment, and everyone is really nice. It's just so f-ing boring. I guess most peoples' jobs are boring. My job is anything but boring, instead it is incredibly challenging and stressful though rewarding. Would you rather have a non-boring job that was stressful and challenging than a boring job with no-stress and normal, consistent hours?

I, personally, couldn't keep a boring job I don't think, but at the same time, 5 hours/sleep per night is getting old, as is working every weekend. There's never enough time.

My first instinct was to say that I'd rather have a boring low-stress job. But on second thought, I guess it depends on what you mean by challenging. Intellectually stimulating and challenging, yes; being a nurse in an emergency room challenging, HELL NO. And I'd have to be making A LOT of money to be ok with working on the weekends and being consistently sleep deprived. Been there, done that, over it.

I wouldn't do this if I didn't think I had a good chance of being made wealthy by it. I could probably make a lot more right now if I looked, but I have some comfort zone here and I hate moving. I wouldn't look unless I absolutely had to.

Challenging as in, doing something you normally like to do, perhaps as a hobby, but getting paid to do it and being held up to a tighter standard on stricter timelines than projects you'd set forth for yourself. Not asinine challenging, doing something you'd normally like to do challenging.
