My new favorite place in Costa Mesa...

I've found my new favorite place to hang out in Costa Mesa. It's an internet cafe. $10 for 5 hours. Now I can get my geek on without having to be around my mom. They don't actually serve food. But it's right next door to a coffee house and they don't seem to mind if you carry in and eat at the terminal. It's pretty basic-about 40 computers

I read Transmetro up until the last issue and then never managed to pick it up. Enjoyed the hell out of it though, his writing is partially responsible I think for getting me into doing graphic novels/comics myself.

Really need to pick it up soon-- don't like when chords don't resolve. :p

I wasn't into comic/graphic novels at all until I read "Transmet" and now I'm way into it. I still don't like the superhero comics but I love "Grrl Scouts", & "Kabuki", and I can't wait to get my hands on the new one by Warren, "Desolation Jones".

What have you written? I'll see if the local comics shop has it.

They're not out yet-- we're still in production on 2 right now, episode 1 of "Fas Ferox," and the same w/ "Chasing The Wish."

I spotted Kabuki at a B&N a couple months ago, it was really well done. I wish I could get that kind of grace out of my drawings.

Sadly, never again. I think I would have liked you (and humbly, that you may have liked me). I'm sorry for the horrible comment I posted to Victoria; it was wrong of me to use you as a weapon. I don't really know why I do things like that, other than the fact that what she called me is truly inexcusable. But I wish you peace and even though I never knew you, I do mourn for you.
