You don't have to respond to anyone! Take care of yourself first, and don't get too preoccupied with trying to prove whether you are right or wrong - you ARE right simply because you did things you needed to do to reach a safe place.
I've always appreciated something my dad said when I was feeling really crazy and weird with grief - we can't control our emotions. Sometimes we have to sit with them, even when they're hard, and acknowledge them, even if they're uncomfortable. Better to do that than try to squash or ignore them.
Is it helpful to you to be around supportive people in person? Maybe it would be a good idea to say, "I'm feeling fragile - can someone spend time with me?"
