Once Upon a Freakin' Time: Director's Cut

Jul 11, 2006 10:09

As I mentioned many, many months ago, I've been planning to fix up the formatting of my older Once Upon a Freakin' Time chapters on ff.net. I'm planning on posting them here too, but for the livejournal versions, I'm adding color commentary (literally in color!). Any notes, explanations or extra jokes are added into the story in blue. I decided ( Read more... )

Well that does explain why I could never find the comic.

I liked it. I remember it being "Gloria knows" and thought that it was the most bizarre thing that could ever come out of Snape's mouth. Thus I was hooked.

The comics are probably in a notebook of her's somewhere, where they'll never be seen again. Which is a pity, because they were hilarious. Voldemort was a big black cloak with a "V" on it.

I probably would have kept it "Gloria" if Snape ever talked like that again. I just gave him my fake swear word in the first chapter, though.

It's even funnier with commentary! Much like the comment reel on a few of my DVDs...particularly the one with the Smurf on acid...anyway....looking forward to director's cuts of the subsequent chapters!

They'll be forthcoming, though not in any particular order. It's actually a lot of fun, and I explain things I've always wanted to say.

That's amazing. Seriously. I've read some of these chapters aloud to my brother, and he literally couldn't stop laughing for like, 3 minutes.

My brother can't decide whether to love Snape or hate him. I just told him to go ahead and love him since htere's most likely enough peopel to hate him... but anyway.

Gotta love the joke explanations. Plus, ya gotta wonder just who Snape is trying to call...

Everyone should love Snape. Just because you know he'd hate it.

...I originally had a story that revealed who Snape was calling planned, but I never wrote it. I may someday, so I can't tell you who he was calling. Though, most people could probably guess.

Well, I hope it doesn't end up like a Star Wars collector's edition. Released and re-released and alter beyond all recognition.

Aha, I'm trying to imagine ff.net with a fancy cocktail lounge and little plastic bracelets needed to get it.

Okay, now I want a cocktail.

I have to admit that one of my favorite jokes is the image that utterly fails to coalesce. Also, I hate fluorescent lights.

We are, like, sisters or something!

It reared off the ground, ready to wrap it’s evil intentions around the man and damn his soul for all time.

Litte typo there. Should be "its". [bitchy] Honestly, woman, don't you have a beta?![/bitchy] So, is this the first OUftiforgottheACRONYM?

Are we sisters in our failed image loving or in our hatred of fluorescent lights?

Whoops, nice catch. Thanks. 'course I don't have a beta. Why would I waste someone's time with this?

Yep, this is the original OUaFT. (Pronounced "oo-ahft.")

Don't feed the Suethors, Evadne, everybody needs a beta. Look, I just wrote a run-on. I need a beta.

Are we sisters in our failed image loving or in our hatred of fluorescent lights?

Both!

Yep, this is the original OUaFT. (Pronounced "oo-ahft.")

I was going to make a joke about that ... then I decided not to ... (Pronounced "I chickened out.")
