Bizenghast Fanfiction: Edaniel's Busy Day

Yay! I managed to get something written! I started this story a while ago, but never finished it. I've promised sadalice that I won't write anything else until I've written a fanfiction based on her work and added to the Bizenghast category on Fanfiction.net. This will probably be a three chapter story with an epilogue. And the chapters are actually ( Read more... )

I love it, and it totally works with Bizenghast's theme/style.
Chocolate chip mango spread would be disgusting.

Thank you! I was trying to make it sound as much like Bizenghast as possible, though perhaps a bit less serious.

Chocolate and mango are two flavors that should n'ere meet.

Bagel knowledge is sancroset, and you should be ashamed!

Well, if you like dark, angsty, prettily dressed graphic novels, I recommend Bizenghast. I mean, don't feel compelled.

How can there be only two comments??? I wasn't going to comment, but seeing the remarkable lack of life out there in LJ Land, I feel obligated.

I've never read Bizenghast (truthfully, never even heard of it before now) but I understood the story. It was wonderful! You have a brilliant writing style and a Rowlingesque flair for making the strange and bizarre believable. And of course you cause me to laugh my ass off all the time.

Chocolate chip mango... hehehe. Maybe the Lunch Ghost will make them some delicious, crispy Batsammiches?

Comments aren't obligatory! But thank you anyway. I do appreciate hearing about my writing.

I'm glad you thought it understandable. Humor was the main focus, but that would be useless without intelligibilty.

Ew, batsammiches. That's even grosser than chocolate chip mango.

"YOU DISPARAGE MY BAGEL KNOWLEDGE?!" roared the ghost

Whooboy, did I ever get a vision of my mother there for a second. The roaring part, not the disparaging-of-bagel-knowledge-part. I'm really glad you're writing again!

I'd be a little concerned if yelling about bagel knowledge specifically led you to think of your mother. But then, maybe your mother is a bagel chef. I don't know.
