Just a few things to mention and get input on before posting the new story:

1) I think I'm definately going to split up Once Upon a Freakin' Time into two stories, with Harry-Voldemort interaction being a whole different timeline and continuity (such as it is). It's going to be sort of an AU to Book 6. Dumbledore is not dead (as he is in OUaFT ( Read more... )

I did indeed like the story about He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named and He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named-in-He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named's-Presence.

That took a lot more effort than I expected.

Congrats on the award! Ooooh look how shiny it is...

Sounds like you've got many a mighty plan for OUaFT. I'm sure we'll all have faith in the new system. Are there likely to be more of the Harry-Voldemort stories or the traditional OUaFTs? In this AU, will it follow the wonderfully plotless style of the orginal OUaFT or will it have more of a continuous storyline? And do you really need to answer these questions or shall I just wait and find out?

It's likely that there will be as many SYDtBE stories as OUaFTs. What gets written depends on what ideas I have. But FF.net will always get updated after three, regardless of what type.

It will also be largely plotless and continuity-less. But I think the timeline will be a little more comprehensible in the new one, since people more often reference things that have happened before.

I am always willing to answer questions, since I am looking for feedback on these new ideas.

I like the shorter one, only because it seems more like a story name. but I would still read it with either :)

Yeah, I think I'm going to stick with the shorter one. If just because the long one doesn't fit anywhere.
