I demanded that pynelyf watch Merlin 2x01 with me, so maybe she'll show up and give her thoughts somewhere. I don't have any, like, srs bznz thoughts about Merlin this time round. But the show remains so delightful that you get to hear what I think of the premiere anyway!

It was so weird, too! Like at the end it seemed like he really was going to be evil for awhile and then 30 seconds later he was mysteriously fine for our big, happy climactic finish. TAKE SOME RISKS MERLIN.

If evil!Merlin fic does not come out of this, I will be disappointed in the fandom (although I won't know anyway since I'm trying *not* to read any right now).

Ugh, I'd be scared to look. You know evil!Merlin fic would turn into evil!Merlin noncon in the blink of an eye.
