This is a wonderful installment - I love the way you're staying comics compliant while putting a twist on it where neither TWS nor the Widow lack compassion. I also especially love their relationship, but you already knew that!

I am actually having a great time trying to follow comic and MCU Canon while putting a new spin on things. It's a fun exercise, and I really do like this version of them, too. They have compassion after a fashion, but it only is obvious if you know everything do. Since they work in shadow and half truth, most of it is lost in translation and they appear heartless and cruel. That does make it the perfect cover, so no one suspects how they really feel. :)
