Oh, I had forgotten to mention anything about it, but I did go back to work yesterday, amidst wide eyed cries of "I really thought you'd take off again today!" They were not amused when I told them in all seriousness I was afraid of what my schedule would look like

You're lucky to live five minutes away. But yeah, that does make the appointments that much more terrible. I'm so glad to hear that you've straightened your schedule out and have made it much more manageable. That's wonderful, really.

You know what, I want to try that for Yuletide! Maybe I can get something written, at least. :)

It's nice to have everyone on board with me cutting back and making sure I don't burn myself out. Always good!

You can either go through the Dear Yuletide Writer signup page or just go via the Gdoc, which is what I've been doing. I scanned for familiar fandoms, then arrowed over to the appropriate letter, copied bits out into my own Yuletide gdoc (no LJ at work, so I can look back over the request on my lunch hour if I can) and voila! It's also my system for the Inception kink meme, too.

Yes. I have a ~system~ for doing this. Because I have obsessive traits when it comes to things like this. lol.

I'm not sure I know what you mean. I copied my sign up details into Word and have been making notes and plans. Do you mean that you've been looking at Yuletide letters from others? I didn't think we could see those yet.

It's very impressive, though.

Someone made a spreadsheet of all the Dear Yulegoat letters posted to the announcement post, so all the early letters are able to be browsed through now. I cut and pasted the requests of other people that I could possibly fill (Tin Man and Push mostly so far, tho I did copy one for Predators which I haven't written in before but I have an idea for!) and I've started on one fic already. It's how I'm able to post so much at Yuletide. :D
