OH MY GAWD YOU WROTE ABOUT DELIRIUM. Nobody does that! Or maybe I'm just in the wrong fandoms, or something... The point is, Delirium speaking to Mal about colorphonic ecstatation is only the most amazing thing ever. Love the original thought, the mention of Cobb trying to impress Miles, and you captured sweet Delirium's voice quite well - kudos for mention of Barnaby!

Del and Death are my favorite characters from the Sandman, so when I saw the request, I couldn't help but write it! And given how Inception's eaten my brain, it was the first thing that came to mind to cross Sandman with. Barnaby is awesome, too. Then again, I love snark in all its flavors, so he won my heart for that. :D

I'm glad you liked the piece. It was a lot of fun to write. It practically wrote itself. In fact, the thing that took the most time was the staggered caps of Del's speech. :)
