persephone33 had done a meme where you put your music player on random and write ten drabbles based on ten songs. You could only write for the length of time that the song was playing, too.

I actually had ten different pairings, and set those down before the songs.

What do I love? I love Tin Man and Firefly and MIRRORMASK (which I completely adored all the way around), and SPN, and ALL KINDS OF THINGS.

You should play with this meme, too! It's fun!

I'm wondering if I want to flesh out any of these little drabbles, actually. Because my brain is never done with wanting new stories to play with. :D

Oh, and because I know you'll love it... I HAVE A PLOT FOR A SEQUEL TO EOD. So it's going to happen. ::nods::

When I was putting the code into my attempts, I didn't actually think about how I would separate the text in between the exercise attempts. But now the drabble pairing, fandom and songs are good separators. :D

There's nothing wrong with SciFi. Tho the really hardcore hates the term and would prefer SF. The new thing is just stupid. I think I read that they wanted to draw in more female viewers. If they really wanted to become the next Lifetime, they'd stop with the creature flicks. That only draws in the geeks. :D

I think I will cry if they decide to become the next Lifetime. The creature flicks are so bad, but almost bad in a good way...or at least bad in a "well there's nothing else on at 3 AM, Escape from Raptor Planet Mansquito Island it is!"

Also, I'm taking this challenge of yours and turning it into a character swap challenge for my online writing group. 40 or so writers with a couple hundred characters between us...could be interesting.

Hey, there's nothing wrong with watching Rock Monster or horror once in a while. :D

It was great fun to do. I have to admit, at some points I was going "I know this song has five seconds left, but I'm not going to use it because it sounds great ending here" in a few of these, but one or two of the longer songs left me going "WTF do I write now? I have another minute left!" It's a great mental exercise with characters. I chose to go shippy, but I think it would be great even in a nonshippy sense.
