I had gotten Fables 5 through 8 for christmas, and I read #5 last night while watching the Jon & Kate viewer's choice marathon. Jay totally hates that show because he hates Kate. Whatever. He was on SWG last night anyway ( Read more... )

Um, I am caught up on Fables through Trade 8 and totally want to chitterchat with you about this...but I can't remember how 5 ends? Help?

(Also, thanks Amazon for showing me that 9, 10 and 11 are out and I'm SO behind. Stupid Amazon with the stupid temptation.)

I've only read up to 5, tho I read quickly. I need to find pics to make some icons, I think. :)

I didn't want to spoil anything because I wasn't sure who on my flist read Fables or not. But at first I was going at a fairly fast clip, and then I had to reread the same five or six pages a few times. Yanno how some bits in books just hit you and you need time to absorb it so you read it again? That's the way this was.

So I guess it's not just hormones, then? *smooshes my puppy* It's easy to say I can't understand how it happens. I think it's more accurate to say I don't want to understand it.

lol. Jay says that Kate's a bitch and is so mean to Jon, and the only reason he stays is because of the kids. Or because child support would be massive. I think it's the way the eps are cut, and that they seem to be pretty sarcastic with each other sometimes. I think she can grate sometimes, but I don't think Kate's horrible.
