I turned the TV on this morning in the middle of "I Only Have Eyes for You." One of my favorite episodes from S2. My friend L tells me that we'll be able to pick up on our Buffy watch when her daughter starts pre-school in August, but I've waited three years for her so I'm not holding my breath. Our last date nights were a call and response trombone concert across a river on the grounds of a local museum and a movie at our neighborhood public library. They were both fun, different evenings out. We're lucky that we live in central Austin and there's always something different to do close by.

The mister reminded me we really liked a new (to us) brew pub in Alameda. Faction has a large tasting room as well outdoor seating with a great view of San Francisco. They only had some light snacks (local roasted nuts if I remember right) but you could pack a picnic and make an afternoon of it. We were on vacation so were there around one on a Thursday. The place wasn't crowded then and it was a beautiful day to sit outside and enjoy an excellent Belgian Trippell I bet the place gets crowded on the weekends. http://www.yelp.com/biz/faction-brewing-alameda
