A day of mad work, and Merlin/Buffy watching, which lent for an odd combination of stress and relaxation ( Read more... )

Ha, very much agree about Merlin. It's great to be able to watch with people who find its inconsistencies broadly charming rather than really really annoying and who aren't grinding any particular ship axe.

Hmm, I think if Morgana had been used to heal the tear I think they may have had a bit of a problem with Emilia Fox's pregnancy...

Is she pregnant again? I didn't know that. I just figured this was done for plot purposes, to isolate Morgana again.

Hang on a minute, what I said makes no sense whatsover... I was thinking of using Morgana instead of Morgause to create the rift, which is not what you were talking about at all...

Aanyway, I don't know that she's pregnant again, but she was heavily pregnant while on Who Do You Think You Are - I don't know if you'd have been able to see that - and with that in mind it looked suspiciously like they were filming round her bump in the first episode. Close-ups were all from the chest upwards, and when we saw her standing she was hunched over with her cloak concealing her tummy area.

It works well for plot reasons, as well, I think, not only to isolate Morgana but also to feed her madness.

It's the same when I watch with my husband. He always raves about how beautiful it looks but in other ways isn't as over-committed as an online fan (like me) would be. I like having that more balanced viewpoint.

intrigued about how the triangle will play out now.

So am I. I'm unspoilt apart from photos too, but they do seem to have picked the one emotion of guilt that could cause havoc for Gwen.

Yes, I've been wondering for a while how they'd ever get this Gwen into any kind of compromising position with Lancelot and just didn't think they could do it. I was wrong, because this will eat and eat at her. It's the one emotion in her that could prove stronger than her devotion and integrity.

That kind of thinking seems to be the most sanity-saving to me. I just don't get allowing yourself to be so stressed out or angry when there's more things in this world to worry about than a TV show. I'm so glad I'm not alone on that!

Congrats on the weight loss. That's wonderful! I'm considering joining weight watchers. I don't seem to do well on my own.
