Updates, updates, updates!!!
Well now, Hello F-list! ::Waves:: ^_^
It's been quite a while since my last really journal entry; I haven’t died yet, things have been crazy, but in a really, really good way.
Summer has flown past, but! It’s still not over - my fall classes at PCC don't start until the 22nd.
As of late I've been down to Mexico yet again to build another house. This time though I was able to paint two murals while I was down there, so I only worked one full day on the house. It was an amazing experience- I'm really glad I went. I was having my doubts about going; I wasn't sure if it was where I would be needed most, but, as it turns out, that was exactly where I needed to be right then.
The day after I got back (Monday) I was talking with Ellen and the topic of Kumoricon came up. Now, I've wanted to go for a couple of years, but my church has always had our annual "family camp". Normally this is, contrary to popular opinion ie- people outside out my church, a whole lot of fun; camping, swimming, bridge jumping, BBQs, playing games and the like. Anyhow, it was canceled this year due to the rising costs, yet continually dilapidating condition of the camp.
So I went to Kumoricon.
I cosplayed as Miaka (Preiestess outfit) from Fushigi Yuugi.

It was. So. Much. FUN!
AND...I got a Bleach T-shirt that is made of AWESOMENESS INCARNENT.
::Unexpected!Costume is not entirely unexpected::
And by the end of the con I think a group of us kinda decided to cosplay Kyo Kara Maoh for Sakuracon.
I'm going to be Günter.

And that's more or less it. I've been watching/finishing anime/yaoi I started/heard about at the con. XD
(Anybody know where I can find Sensitive Pornograph online? We watched the first episode or two at the Yaoi/Yuri party, and I can't find it -_-)
I feel for the people who are back in school right now. ::hugs to all who apply:: Been there, done that got the T-shirt.
