Hello, I found this community just as my favourite side got knocked out. :^( Yep, I'm a Netherlands supporter. I think this story falls somewhere between a drabble and a ficlet, I'll let you decide. My first fic in a very long time, and the first in this genre, so please be gentle. ;^) Feedback is very welcome and thanks go to my new braintwin aka-centimetre2

Its a bit sad at the end, but just as it was.

It is sad, the end of an era as well as the Dutch hopes for this year. I'm glad I can still watch Edwin with ManU this coming season, but he deserved to go all the way with his team.

You're very welcome, thank you so much for commenting. I was a bit nervous about posting it, I'm really happy it's been well received so far. :D

I should also thank you for your Dutch team presentation post, there was a lot of useful info in there as well as all the delicious pics of course. ;) It definitely helped me with some of the details.

I'm glad I can still watch Edwin for at least one more season with ManU (even though it's traitorous to admit that when you live in Liverpool ;).
