Hi everyone! I was so glad to find this community - I have some slash drabbles to share based on the Dutch campaign and their loss today. Being a new convert to the Oranje, I was pretty devastated. The fact that Edwin van der Sar is also my favorite player meant I just had to bang these out! I hope you enjoy them.

I can't believe they lost. That's just depressing, and I'm not even a Dutch fan.

I'm going for Turkey, I think, since I don't think Spain can beat Italy. Though, I also didn't think Russia could beat the Dutch or that Germany could beat Portugal or that Italy would beat France.

I know, these quarters have all been surprises, haven't they? I'm pretty much going for anyone but Italy, though I'm leaning towards Germany.

Ah well, it's over now. I can watch what's left of the games a lot more relaxed now. Perhaps even my muse is willing to work a bit harder than she did the last couple of weeks.

Haha, I think I will... hope you don't mind that it's all Edwin, though. He's sort of my current 'ho. :) And yeah, a lot of the pressure's gone now... I don't think I really mind who wins now, as long as it's NOT the Italians. *seethes*

I'm so glad you did this so quickly after the match yesterday. I was sreaming inide for Edwin all through that match; even though I knew that Khalid was the more pitiable.

You're very welcome - and yeah, it was brutal, wasn't it? All those magnificent saves! I couldn't bear to watch the end when the Russians were celebrating, all I could see was Edwin walking off... *sob*

Despite being Russian, I wasn't happy at all watching our team tormenting Edwin. I was much for the Oranje since the very beginning of this Euro and their loss became my personal tragedy on that night when people around were all celebrating. Edwin never deserved THIS. He is too good for such a tragic and cruel loss.

But at least one good thing happened because of the events of that day: this wonderful fic so beautifully written. Thank you aka_centimetre2 for sharing. I like your fics, go on.
