It's not exactly my kind of scene either even though it can be fun... and funny. To get me to sing you most likely have to get me drunk first though.

In Stuttgart there's a "karaoke meeting" nearly every weekend in a club. The singers are not too bad !!

But i think casting shows are one of the major signs of the apocalypse !!

You mean casting shows like like "American Idol" or country x's equivalent? I hear they have this all over the place now, even Singapore has its own. I could never get into watching even though I do like some of the otehr reality shows.

In Germany there're shows like "Deutschalnd sucht den Superstar", "Germany's next Top Model" or "Star-Search".
