My thoughts exactly. ;) I'm not sure about 4 meals of fish a week even though I really love seafood but overall, the whole thing sounds great to me. It's something to go by in a roundabout way.

I think it's important to note that heart disease and blood pressure, while commonly linked, are not exactly the same thing. I'd be afraid of someone hearing about the reduced heart disease without realizing exactly what they're affecting. My dad had LOW blood pressure for a while, so if he ate foods to reduce it...bad things could happen (I'm guessing).

Yes, I agree. I don't believe in strict diet plans to CURE anything anyway. Or this idea that if you use plan X, you'll live to 150, LoL. Of course diet is important when you DO have some ailment.

I believe in the connection between body and spirit and that psychological factors and attitude can play a great part in one's health, or lack thereof... Of course I'm not AGAINST [western]modern medicine/science or nutrionist's findings either - but I feel in a time and place where everything is about making money,
all info must be taken with a grain of salt. And any prescription/
treatment/medication should be researched before trusting one
single doctor.

I've seen some examples with friends and family where it would have been better to do so.
