Oh, this is priceless! I love the twist you put on my prompt, because of course in Eureka it couldn't be *just* a father-daughter dance. *grin* And the protesters!!! And Jack is *so* very Jack. I love it!

Thanks so much, hon! :-)

Ahahahhaa. I wish I had more conversations about Eureka, just so I had an excuse to use the phrase "Nathan Jackass Stark" with at least daily frequency. I <3 this.

My school did actually have a father/daughter dinner dance. Truefax.

"I'll have you know law enforcement is a demanding and rewarding career, and not only that, there's a lot of public interest in it. I mean, Law & Order!"

"Yes, because that attracts the interest of teenage girls everywhere."

*HEARTS*

Not at all noticing the mob of girls three deep around Nathan Jackass Stark.

Hee!

"God help me on prom night," he said, swiping his hand down his face.

bwah!

(Also, a pounding, pounding headache, because seriously. Spiking the punch with explosive chemicals? Whatever happened to vodka? This town.)

Hee!

He looked over to where Stark was standing next to Zoe--both of them staring at him with patent disbelief--and smirked.

Score one for Jack! Well, score about a million because his reactions in times of panic and emergency are wonderful and he totally deserves the admiration of over-brainy teenage girls. Totally.
