You have captured so many different emotions in this image....it is really quite astounding...I get more out of it each time I revisit it....

Thank you! When I first saw this image on my computer, I quite liked the expression. As I was preparing it for posting, I had a few doubts, as (again) it's not exactly a classical portrait, and not necessarily the most flattering. However, I stuck with it, for the same reasons you mention; the expression is different, cryptic, but engaging. I also showed it to the model tonight, who was quite pleased with it, so I'm glad I went with my first instinct to use it.
