THANK YOU MY DARLING FLIST FOR ALL THE LOVELY BIRTHDAY WISHES! *hugs you all*
I've working a lot lately, but I'm still lurking all over, sadly only have little time to comment and post, but hopefully this will change next week.
(And OMG I've lost hours reading VB wank over at fandom_wank, an insanely entertaining and disturbing blast from the past

Gwen...idk
I just hope that they won't force her into the script like they did in some of this season's episodes.
Arthur's servant??? OH HELL NO! She's a woman, so no! She can't prepare a bath for him or help him undress. It would simply be to improper.
Why can't she just go off in search of Lancelot?
I know I'm being very anti-Gwen right now, but that's just how I feel.
I don't think I would miss her much...

I am seriously at a loss as to what they're going to do with Gwen.
Maybe make her study under Gaius to become a healing woman? Move Merlin permanently into Arthur's ante chamber?
The only reason I don't like that scenario is because I don't want her to intrude on the Gaius-Merlin family dynamic.

"Annnnd what the hell are they going to do with Gwen, "
I thought about this for a minute or so before deciding... I really don't care. I don't pay any attention to the irritating A/G scenes any more and she doesn't do much else anyway.

I don't really care about Gwen either anymore, which is sad, because she was adorable in season one, I'm just scared she will now only have scenes with Arthur. Endless scenes in which she berates him and they pine away for each other.

The writers really, really painted themselves into a corner with G/A. I mean what was the rush?
In my ideal world, her and Merlin would have had lots of friendshippy scenes this season.
Gwen would have been a great support to Morgana, and even maybe sense something was changing in her and discussing it with Merlin.
For some reason I think they're going to have be an apprentice to Gaius, become a healer.

I loved season one Gwen, but they changed her character completely in season two, she just became a whining nuisance moaning at Arthur all the time.

That relationship is made of so much epic fail, I can't even handle it. Which, as I've said about a billion times, is unfortunate. Because maybe if they hadn't completely screwed up both characters this season with that, I might have been able to get behind it. What the HELL was the rush?
On a somewhat related note - I'm not reading your other entry because I want to avoid spoilers, but can you vaguely tell me if you think I'd be happy with whatever it is you think is going to happen? ;D
