Yes I listened to the play yesterday and it was pretty good if a little strange. And Colin's voice . . . *guh*, basically. His accent is so sexy and I really really cannot understand why they made him change it for Merlin

(unless of course, it was because the series was going to be sold overseas and they thought people outside the UK/Ireland would struggle to understand an Ulsterman's accent)

Anyway, I thought he sounded very sexy yesterday *loves*!

His voice is pure sex. I think there were a number of reasons why they didn't choose to keep his real accent...much to the dismay of fans like us :(

I've already rewatched the Merlin episodes so many times, but if he had had his Irish accent I probably would have worn out my DVDs by now.

As Bradley said: Colin is sort of a slow burner. I always thought of him as the cute and lovely boy but listening to him (hasn't he the most adorable and flirting smile in his voice????) now (again and again...) my thoughts changed to goddamn hot man.

Yes, I do think that Bradley went through the same process in falling for Colin as we did.
And this is purely speculative, but I think Bradley was fascinated because Colin was not immediately completely forthcoming. An enigma.
