Start out with an image; mine is from Getty Images. Crop it down to your base and do whatever adjustments are needed (sharpen, brightness/contrast, whatever).
Add a green layer on Linear Burn 58%

Add a tan layer on Multiply 100%

Copy merged twice. Put the first (closer to your base) on Screen 35%, and the second on Soft Light 30%
Add some blobs of color in a new layer as a makeshift texture. Put the layer on Screen 100%

Duplicate the tan Multiply layer and drag it to the top. Leave all settings the same.
