Best foot forward

I have just done something I've never done before-ordered 4 pairs of shoes online, all for the purpose of buying one pair of shoes. I know, this is radical behavior. But I've been trying to find a replacement for my favorite black vintagey heels for a couple of years now, and trolling the shoe stores on three continents hasn't worked. So I ordered

I love Zappos for exactly this reason. Please, shoes are important! Now...can we see pics of these shoes? ;-)

Oh, sure: Here are the pair with the cutouts (MIA), the first suede/leather pair (Clarks), the second suede/leather pair (Anne Klein), and the final pair with the brown detail (Seychelles).

I think I like the Anne Klein ones best, but I'm afraid they'll be too narrow and uncomfortable; I've had much better luck with Clarks than with Anne Klein generally. Seychelles and MIA I don't know anything about, so they're shots in the dark. The Seychelles pair also comes in cobalt and whiskey (burgundy, as far as I can tell), and I kind of want the cobalt ones more than the black ones... but I need black shoes. So we'll see!
