one of your mistakes is your grammar.

it should be "until now, the cold war is not resolved".

Because the fact that it's not resolved makes it a present thing which gives it the right to be written in present tense because it's a present thing, but you did not write it in present tense when it should be written in present tense but you wrote it in past tense but it's not a past thing so you should have written it in present tense because of the fact that it's an event happening now.
