Seminar Fellows Program

I'm considering applying to be a seminar fellow for next year.
I'm hoping that anyone who has been a seminar fellow can give me some advice as to whether or not it's a good experience, worth my time, etc.

I did this long enough ago that my experience might not be applicable anymore. I found that it was an acceptable experience, but that I didn't really get a lot of support from the professor on finding ways to engage my advisees, and we had virtually no curriculum to follow, so that was frustrating. If you are interested in going on to graduate school, its a good experience to prepare for TAing though.
