I'm an early decision applicant, too! Definitely feelin' the same way. I'm so anxious/fearful to recieve their final decision. I guess its wishful thinking until then...
I know. The college app process is irritatingly passive once you send your stuff. I feel like I should be doing something productive, but then I realize I've done all I can.
Yeah I feel your pain. I'm a senior who applied ED as well. Hopefully we both get in. I know lang sends physical mail but do they send emails as well because I've heard of people getting emails in addition to the mail
I'm not sure. I've heard they can be hella disorganized and send mostly physical mail. I know they don't tell you things over the phone because it's a privacy violation of some sort. But, like I said, I'm not too sure.
I feel you. Picking schools is the most difficult part of the process, I think. This time last year I was convinced I was going to SoCal and my mind was a changed pretty quickly once I started to map out what I really wanted. I'm worried about aid, too. I've applied for a lot of local scholarships and essay contests and I'm looking at some okay federal aid- so my fingers are crossed I won't be in inescapable debt.
Haha you think waiting for early decision is bad? I'm applying as a transfer for next semester and I STILL haven't heard. I don't know what school I'm going to in like a month. Bleeeeeeeeeeeh.
Yo. I applied ED to Lang as well! this makes you and I one of the what, 80 kids who are in the ED pool? I'm not too worried but the wait is still driving me insane. I check the online app-status site about 4 times a week, but nothing. ever. changes.
Does your "application preference" thing say "not entered"?.
do you know what this even means? I had a hunch that it was something as simple as paper or online application, but it is still rather unsettling.
anywhoo. I hope all goes well for you, and maybe i'll see you there come fall.
How do you know there's only 80 of us? or is that just an estimate?
&yeah, I know. I check constantly too, but I feel like I'm defining insanity- repeating the same action over and over and expecting something different.
Yeah, my app said the same thing. I'm assuming that's normal, because I've heard other people had the same thing.
