Choosing what books to bring to college is harder than choosing what college to go to. No, seriously. This is a big decision.

So far, I'm almost definitely for sure bringing:
The Thief, The Queen of Attolia, and The King of Attolia by Megan Whalen Turner (ultimate comfort series. Plus, the sequel's out this spring!)
Harry Potter 3 & 7 (obvious)

NEEDS MOAR GAIMAN.

*ahem*
Or maybe I'm just projecting. I brought Hobbit and Doris K Goodwin and some academic books and Akhil R Amar and only one Tamora Pierce.

OH AND I NOW HAVE A POSTER ON MY WALL WITH A QUOTE FROM MY SUPREME COURT BOYFRIEND OLIVER WENDELL HOLMES. Take that!

What is [M] bringing? You should probably coordinate with her to see if you would have duplicates.

My ultimate comfort series is Conflicts of Interest. And it goes with me wherever there is a computer. SO THERE.

In all siriusness, bring a couple academic books (shakespeare and austen count, btw) consider another HP (6, perhaps?)Is there any way you can check your school's library catalogue to find out if it is as failtastic as mine?

Just bought Good Omens, which is definitely coming with, as well as my shiny new Batman (first graphic novel I've ever bought, so exiting!)

What quote is on your poster? Where did you get this magical thing? I thought I was the only one with dead historical boyfriends.

Oh thank god, New Omens. You should go to half price books (next to Dicks Sporting goods at village crossing) for Batman related awesomeness.

It has a picture of piles of books, and the word KNOWLEDGE - " One's mind, once stretched by a new idea, never regains its original dimensions"

Ollie has been my bf since I read Simple Justice 3 times last year and absorbed ever fiber of it into my soul.
