MeI am trying very hard to be positive and view the new year as a New Start. 2013 has honestly been the worst year of my life and, at various points, TR was what kept me going. I know it's stupid, to be this invested in a game, but for years and years, this has been my safe place and, sometimes, that makes me defensive. I am trying to get back

Jackson certainly is making a concerted effort to flirt - not that it is doing him a damn bit of good at the moment. Fortunately, he's good-natured about it.

And yes, Peter has been adopted. Or will be adopted, if he doesn't mind being adopted. I don't know why she's decided to do it. I know it has something to do with Michelle, but it's something else. She won't tell me. Maybe she knew a young cop like him once.

I mean, flirting is sort of Jackson's default setting. He does it whether it's being notice/well received or not. That said, he does hold out hope that, eventually, Cam's going to crack ;)

Peter is more pleased that he lets on about being adopted. His mum has always been very Present in a way that he insists a lot of African mums are.

Cam actually sort of appreciates the casual flirting when she's not stuck underneath mistletoe. And yeah, that was a very good kiss. Which she still isn't tell him because his ego does not need more help.

Cam's mom died when she was 23, but before that she was very present as well. She raised her girls in the Bronx in the 70s and 80s, which takes skill, guts, and love.

She will be absolutely stunning at NYE - he should say hello. :)
