Oooh, this is ouchy in the very best ways. You have a wonderful grasp of Ava's voice and attitude.

Love this line in particular: "Stay," she says, and she can feel him fixing to lie to her, because, whatever he says and whatever he does, she knows that Raylan Givens just ain't meant to die in a place like Harlan, Kentucky. Just gorgeous!
