To make the Comments page match your journal style, you need to go to Edit Info and check the box that says "View comment pages in your journal style."
LJ will email you replies to your posts and to any comments you post. On the Edit Info page, check the box that says "Get message board replies."
What you can do to remember where to go to post: Just bookmark the Update Journal page. It's the same URL every time.
You forgot another LJ pro, though I don't know if this is something you care about or can use: it keeps you logged in all the time if you want it to, even after you've restarted the computer. Can Xanga do that? Cuz that'd be really helpful for me.
Actually, now that I think about, it's possible you need a paid account for your Comments pages to match your journal style. I know! You should get a paid account! Heh.
