Rob had been on the island for over two weeks now and he was just started to get beyond the whole 'What the fucking fuck?' feeling that plagued him for days. He couldn't deny the setting was brilliant. It had everything and it was a far cry from Iraq. He might even go so far as to say he liked it. There didn't seem to be anyone from home, though, even if some people told him it was a possibility. Dean felt another swell of pride surge up and nodded slowly as he patted the Impala. "Sure is, man. Built her up from a wreck. My brother's birthday gift. Sam has his moments of getting things right... This was definitely one of 'em. Even let him help just to show how awesome a brother I am."

Dean looked at the guy and raised an eyebrow slightly. "You into cars?"

Rob trailed his fingers along the top of the smooth paintwork and nodded, laughing a little. "I guess you could say that. Bit of a sore point in general right now, though. Still, top job, dude. She looks fantastic," he said, patting the edge of door.

"Just keep lookin' at this car, then all your troubles will go away," Dean said with a sage nod. "She makes everythin' better. Always has... Well, my old one. I gotta actually get some memories built up with this one."

"Well, well, well. Look who's up and running." There was no mistaking that car, or the rumble that emanated from under the hood. Dean finally had the Impala out of the junkyard and god was she a sight.

Dean grinned as he looked from Faith to the Impala, then popped some more M&Ms into his mouth. "She's beautiful, isn't she? If it was legal, I think I really would marry her. Still kinda feel like I'm cheatin' on my baby back home... is that weird?"

He shook his head. "Nah, figure it'll come to me when she's ready."

"Nah, you'll just have to move to Utah is all. You can do that whole multiple wives thing to avoid any feelings of guilt."

She laughed and ran her hand along the hood of the car. "Yeah, she seems like the opinionated type."

Dean tilted his head as he gave this some serious consideration before he raised his eyebrows and smiled. "You know what, you might have somethin' there, sweetheart. I'm sure I could share myself between the two of 'em."

He chuckled. "Considerin' who helped build her, you really that surprised?"
