Grrr, and now all the people jumping to say that it is totally not misogynist but a perfectly reasonable point of view because look at Tyrion he's such a poor woobie and his wife got raped, the poor dear. ARGH.

I'm not entirely sure how much I'd blame Tyrion for this though. So young and with Tywin in charge of the whole proceeding, I'd say he was somewhat coerced into it.

Though he gets a pass on a lot of things from fandom that he really oughtn't yeah :(

I don't really have an issue with people jumping in and I can't remember any problem of harassment.

I have issues with feeling like nobody cares about what I say.

In fact I'm often puzzled by people who voice having difficulty with confrontation - even polite - because for me it's such a none issue, whereas feeling ignored (which a lot of people would do out of politeness when they disagree with something) is a major source of anxiety for me.
