Weirdly enough that was the death that I think hit me the hardest. But yeah, I was glad to see him too ^^ even if physically he didn't turn out how I was expecting him to be.

I have a theory Andromeda killed him and blamed DEs because he'd call her "Dromeda" one time too many. One should totally kill a husband that call you Dromeda

I don't know if I should be happy or sad about this but I so liked this book more than I liked the OotP movie. I loved this book, but I do hate the holes the treatmentof Severus and of course character deaths and the like. But we gotta live with it

I've not really sat down and thought about my feelings on HP7. My mind is a little whirlygig trying to process the story. The one overwhelming thing is the lack of other POVs. Like you, I want a good fanfic writer to tackle what was going on outside of the trio whilst they were off hunting.

I think you're spot in with how the fandom will adapt to the change in canon to keep the required ships alive and floating.

I liked it very much - it achieves epicness really well, loved a lot of things there, but I get the feeling that not reading HP ff I read this way differently than you. I somehow kept comparing it to the Return of the King actually ;)
