I knew Misha would be a great character, but the fact you made him a were-dragon that can't shift and accepts as a genetic issue and not a weakness it is fantastic! I'm so pleased Jensen clicked with Misha, he's perfect for the job.
I felt for poor Jensen being sick as soon as he arrived back at the cottage, and in front of his in-laws too! But Jared's parents are lovely, and it was so sweet of his mom to get all the nesting materials for Jensen. I loved this little exchange between Jared and his dad...
“Tough ride?” He asks Jared, smiling at him. “Tough month,” Jared replies, going for the bags in the backseat. He hears his father snickers and wonder what’s so funny."
Jared should know his dad understands what he's going through! I love that Jensen and Jared have their little fights, but are there for each other and trying to appreciate what the other is going through.
And the ending with Dr Harris telling an emotional Jensen he's adorable and very brave was lovely! Can I hear the flap of tiny wings coming soon?
Yes, you can, although it might still be a few days before the labour and delivery chapter is ready. I hit a wall last week, because of everything that's been happening to me, and couldn't write a single word. It was my longest writer's block: I'm used to write every single day since I was eight or nine. Anyway, long story short, it's coming back to me and the chapter is halfway through. Yay!!!
