I'm glad Jared and Jensen get a chance to talk, really talk, to each other before Jensen's withdrawal symptoms get to be too bad for him to really think coherently. Jensen's reasons for taking off and leaving Jared, for not staying in contact, make sense from his point of view. In a way, it was very selfless of him to give Jared up and he wouldn't have thought about Jared missing and worrying about him.

Jensen's withdrawal is already intense and it's just started. Christian's reasoning for leaving these two alone made sense and it believably gave these two the privacy to talk about what happened to them and how it's effected both their lives.

Jared has pushed sexuality away with both hands and keeps rigid control over every aspect of his life. It's not an emotionally healthy way to live but it's a lot healthier than how Jensen has learned to cope.

Jensen's used the tools at his disposal to deal with his feelings. Unfortunately, those tools were alcohol and drugs and sex which just numbed his emotional turmoil. Once he's clean, that turmoil is going to have to be dealt with. Good thing Jared has Misha on speed dial.
