Ok, not nice of you to make my cry in the morning like this..,. Wait... Who am I kidding... I LOVED this story so much, loved the ending and can't wait to read the sequel! You're right, as much as I wanted Jared to tear Eric a new one, I was so pleased to see Jensen react and scream at him. More realistic , as you said, and just as satisfying!:) so happy that Jen can finally stand on his own, and even happier that he still chooses Jared to be by his side :). Ok, now all I have to do is fix my make-up and go to work, with a stupid grin stuck on my face :D thx, hon!!!:) *hugs*

I was really scared I was going to disapoint you guys with this ending so it's really touching me that my most faithful readers thought it was ok.

I'm glad Jared didn't beat him up, not for the realism (though that is always good too) but because Jared isn't a violent person and behaving that way would hurt him emotionally far more than the bruises would hurt Eric. And I think it would taint his relationship w/ Jensen, both J's knowing Jared sank to that level and could sink to that level.

Eric will get plenty of comeuppance the straightforward way. Especially when the authorities see that he and Jensen have had prior police contact and Eric coerced Jen into lying to the police via threat.

I'm glad the overall story will continue. It makes total sense to skip ahead, we don't need a section about details of the legal system. Your plan for how to divide the individual stories within the 'verse makes complete sense as well.

Fabulous fabulous fabulous!!!! Jensen's finally facing Eric and his evil was so moving, as was Jared's unexpected reaction to his desire to press charges. Makes perfect sense to break here, but I'm so glad you already have a sequel on the drawing board!! Terrific story!

This was wonderful! Jensen was totally believable in his wanting to go back to the cabin and then I cheered at his defiance of Eric. I'd really hoped for Jared to give Eric a whuppin' but, yeah, in rl that likely wouldn't happen and then Jared would go up on charges for aggravated assault. I'm hoping Eric winds up in prison and his room-mate is called 'Mad-Dog' ;)
I so love this story and can hardly wait for the sequel! :)
