Ianto knows he should be happy. He has his work and he has Lisa. Again. Finally. He knows he should be happy.
Ianto closed the door softly behind him, trying to avoid waking the sleeping woman.
“I didn’t realise. I’m sorry. I’ll try to do better.”
“Fine,” Jack pouted. “But next time, I’m choosing the movie.”
“What?” she smiled, looking back at him. “It’s not that outrageous a suggestion.”
“Absolutely,” Jack said, holding them tighter.
“You’re so cute when you’re embarrassed, Ianto.”
“What if it all just goes… wrong?”
Ianto floundered. “How do you even know?”
“If you’re about to ask what I think you’re about to ask… well, please don’t ask it.”
Jack looked mildly startled.
“I believe we were interrupted earlier…”
