Hey! I got Chekov in that 'which-character-are-you' thing! Don't make Gwen Chekov!!!! I LIKE Chekov!

Gwen is....um....the random-unnamed-guy-who-was-originally-on-communications-but-relieved-by-Uhura-cause-she-could-do-the-job-better. Yes. She is one the the 'random clipboard characters' in the background.

Love this hun - its so true. Jack would definitely have chair-envy.

Unlurks...Brilliant! I loved Jack's reaction at the begining...I have been a Star Trek fan for MANY years and really loved this film, but my little Dr. Who fangirl had to be silenced when she kept going...'But they can't DO that...it might cause a paradox...and those are BAD, just ask Jack'

And Chekov...snicker...no one can understand Gwen either half the time.. ;)

Aw, why'd you have to do that to poor Chekov?! Jk lol. I love Eve, but I just can't stand Gwen, and I love Chekov, so I'd much rather she be someone else lol. But Owen would totally be Bones, and Tosh would make an awesome Scotty, or even Sulu. Ianto as Spock and Jack as Kirk WINS AT LIFE! I <3 this.

The trouble was really that there just isn't a Gwen-like character IN ST. I thought and thought but just couldn't find one.

I'd say Uhura since she's the biggest cockblock ever, but she was gettin jiggy with Spock, not wanting to be up close to Kirk...plus I kinda like Uhura, even if she is gettin' in the way of epic bromance.

Just passing by and had to chime in! I know she's not in the new movie, but Gwen is Nurse Chapel, hopelessly moon-eyed over the unreachable hero, and spends a lot of time with the doctor, if you know what I mean. ;)

I did consider her, actually... but the lack of her in the new movie (which in this particular fic is the only Trek Jack has seen, amazingly) put paid to that idea...
