Been there, done that heaps of times...oil works well to soak ur hair in overnight. Kinda gross but it suffocates the lil critters. Also, as a long term strategy, adding a bit of teatree oil to shampoo works well. Apparently the head lice don't like the smell of it or something so it helps u not get them
