Mediocrity

Recently I came to a realisation that my faith was feeling very mediocre. I was reading a lot of secular (and interesting) blogs, spending time on secular (and interesting) forum boards, and thinking about how things influence the outworking of my faith. Which is fine. I feel like there's a good balance to be kept. I think that God ordains things that aren't directly Gospel-centered as being okay!
I can't really express myself because my mind is occupied right now, but maybe I'll think of this later. Or gave you something to think about.

Oh man! I need tips on this too. I had a similar moment of realising that I need to change stuff a month or two ago, but I am still struggling to make any significant changes. Ugh.

but the Spirit of God is always present in our hearts all the time. I don't invite the Spirit in, because he is already there. If I just pick up the Bible without doing what you've said, the Spirit will work in me ( ... )
