I hadn't seen the Team Extract From Bruce Wayne one until today

You know how there's that trope in Inception fandom about Arthur having the world's most violent militarised subconscious? I'm just saying, I don't think he'd have anything on Bruce fucking Wayne. Blood, guts, violence, projections of every bamf he's ever met ... man, this I have to see. (So uh, yeah, you should do that!)

There was one where Arthur is actually Tim (a fill) a while ago, but it wasn't Arthur/Eames so I didn't read it even though the idea is so UTTERLY brilliant that I so so wanted to rip it off with a plot in which Eames knows because he has some connection to some ridiculous villain from Gotham/is a ridiculous villain from Gotham/something.

I'm actually hyperventilating with how much I want to read that. holy fucking shit. also that idea is the most brilliant, I mean, he even looks like Tim - I was just telling Twitter all about how young!JGL is my ideal Tim casting. YOU SHOULD DO THAT RIPOFF, although I am not an OTPer so I am also going to go find that fill and read it.

OH GOD IT'S SO PERFECT I CAN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT IT. Racking my brains trying to remember a good villain from Tim's run on Robin but I can only remember the wacky ones like Man-Bat and the ambiguously racist ones like Lynx.

I stopped following the Bat storyline because of my loathing of Damien, but Arthur's reason for leaving Gotham/heroing could TOTALLY BE HIS OWN HATRED OF DAMIEN and how he's all butthurt about Bruce and Damien. And then they need his help/there's some weird incesty shit with Dick, who is clearly played by that guy from White Collar.

Writing Sherlock Holmes is impossible. What, does this look like the The Beekeeper's Apprentice lj? Hells no.

I have a hard enough time writing Eames to my satisfaction and there isn't the weight of a hundred plus years of canon and wackadoos. (I love it, bb, but I can't write the vernacular well enough for my own satisfaction.)
