I used to beg mom for "Chässchnitte" at least once a week when I was a kid :)

My favorite variation includes half a canned pear or a slice of pineapple (placed under the cheese).

Awww, that's cute. :)
I was a really picky eater as a kid but you could always give me cheese, the one and only exception being Blue Cheese. I still don't like that one unless it's in a sauce.
