MOROCCAN PASTRY TRIANGLES WITH ALMONDS AND HONEY
Briouats

Makes 20

1 lb blanched almonds
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons orange blossom water
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 lb fillo dough sheets, each 12x17inches
1 cup vegetable oil
1 cup honey, warmed
2 tablespoons sesame seeds, toasted

I actually had something very similar when I was in Morocco this summer. It was quite delish. I think I'll try making this sometime. :)

Oh cool, where did you go in Morocco? I didn't see anything about it in your journal.

These are basically like baklava, so yummy. I love anything with almonds. :)
