Ode to my iPhone

It’s been almost three months with my iPhone and we are still madly in love. Oh. My. God. After seven years with Nokia phones, I am just overcome with the joy of an interface that tries to help me, that realises that, hmm, maybe the people I call the most don’t have names beginning with ‘A’, so gives me a favourites list. I'm being serious! I've been gazing enviously at other people's iPhone's for the whole of 2009 (I've got a six year old Nokia). I am also a bad sleeper and I hate my alarm so the app sounds brilliant. I'm just baffled as to how the built-in accelerometer can monitor my sleep pattern. Science, I guess.

Must be science :)

You put the phone next to your pillow, so during the night it can sense you tossing and turning and whatever, it takes a couple of nights to calibrate itself to your movements - and then, miracles happen.

I so want an iPhone but my contract doesn't run out until July. Perhaps I can get one or a smart phone then.
